Gemini Sidebar is a browser extension that embeds a Gemini panel into any webpage. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data We Collect

Gemini Sidebar does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The only data stored is your sidebar preferences (position, width, display mode), saved locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

Third-Party Services

The extension loads gemini.google.com inside an iframe. Your interactions with Gemini are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

• storage — saves your sidebar preferences locally
• scripting / tabs — toggles the sidebar via the extension icon
• declarativeNetRequest — allows Gemini to load inside the sidebar iframe
